Postage & Payments
In order that you understand how you may safely and quickly send your mobile phone or any other item to us and get paid for it as quickly as possible, we recommend you read this carefully.
POSTAGE: When you place a request to sell your device, especially when the value is over £40, we recommend that you select the option marked Royal Mail Special Delivery ( you may also use any other form of Special Delivery) to send your mobile phone or other device to us. This is highly recommended because it gaurantees that your device gets to us safely and also quickly, usually the next day. Special Delivery services are covered by Royal Mail, and should your item get lost in transit you may be covered for upto £500 in compensation by Royal Mail. All requests receive priority processing, but those sent in by Special Delivery, as well as showing some caution and care, tend to indicate that the sender/owner needs the money value of the item urgently. If the device is in 100% working condition and without issues we will guarantee to send out the payment, in the form chosen by you, on the same day as we received your item or at most within the next 24 hours. Guaranteed.
For items sent to us by less quicher means or items that do not meet the 100% working condition, processing them takes a little longer and as such 24 hour payment, though still possible, is not guaranteed. When you place your request you also have the option to use your own padded envelope to send your items back to us. This is advisable as it saves you at least 3 days of waiting for Myfonerecycle bag to come through the post. So when you place your request you have those options to make. Your selection in the 'posting option' and 'envelope option' within the selling process, may, among others determine how quickly your money gets to you. We endeavour to send out padded envelopes as we receive the requests. However, if you requested myfonerecycle padded bag, but did not receive it after 3 working days, please contact us. As we strive to make your money available to you as quickly as possible to meet our promises to you, we also appreciate and expect that you will help us by sending out your item in the post as soon as possible.
PAYMENTS: Payments are made in different ways, and we will pay you in the payment type you selected when completing your sell request. So, you can either choose to be paid by cheque, Paypal, bank transfer or even by charity donation. We especially recommend bank transfer if you need your money in a hurry. Paypal is the next quickest. However, some sellers still prefer cheques. But whichever way you want it is your choice and we are only at you service. Charity type payments means you desire for your money to be donated to a charity or organisation of your choice, which you would have advised us when you completed the sell request. This donation is made on your behalf according to your instruction and evidence it is made available to you on your request. We have created this option as a result of the feedback we received from some of you that have traded with us in the past.
Please note that payments not received after 5 working days of receiving our confirmation email must be reported to us in writing by email, attaching or forwarding our payment confirmation email to you. Also to be clearly stated in your email is your oder ID and other details of your transaction, eg IMEI number in the case of a mobile phone.
